About Okinawa and us

“Honu” means ‘Sea Turtle’ in Hawaiian. We are committed to providing an enjoyable and relaxing dive. We are a small shop, but we are the friendliest and most comfortable shop in Okinawa. Located in Naha city Okinawa island. There is just 5 minutes away from the Naha International Airport by car.

Naha is a very convenient location; there are many shopping places available, numerous upscale restaurants located on the Kokusai-Dori (International Street) and many great accommodations.

Honu Honu Divers Okinawa has been awarded a "Certificate of Excellence 2016,2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020" by TripAdvisor!

About Okinawa

Okinawa Prefecture is located in the southernmost tip of Japan. It is composed of both large and small islands and boasts a year round warm climate. With a beautiful transparent sea and rich natural environment, Okinawa has become one of Japan’s most popular tourist destinations.

@Access to Okinawa

Regular flights from major domestic airports such as the Narita International Airport, Haneda Airport, Central Japan International Airport (Centrair), and Kansai International Airport to Okinawa’s gateway Naha Airport operate daily. In addition, there are direct international flights from Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul and other cities to Naha Airport. For those planning to visit Ishigaki Island and Miyako Island, there are direct flights from Haneda Airport, Kansai International Airport, and Central Japan International Airport (Centrair). Please contact each respective airline for details.

@Monorail

A landmark of Naha is Okinawa’s first monorail “Yui Rail”. It runs from Naha Airport to Shurijo Castle in about 27 minutes one way.

@Bus

Bus lines cover almost the entire Okinawa Main Island and are a convenient way to go sightseeing. Buses also run on the outlying islands.

@Taxis

Since taxis on Okinawa are less expensive than the mainland, they are a popular means of transportation.
